I have loved to draw and paint from a very early age. Art in many forms was forming my personality from 5 years old, when my mother decided to get me into music and enrolled me on piano class. After four years in music school, I have happily abandoned my instrument and enrolled to study art ( printmaking) at the Art school. Daily after-school educational institution. Those were my happiest days. After completion of the General education and my extracurricular Art education, I had a gap year for the reason of the major political government crisis after the USSR's collapse, and Lithuania ( my native country) was then part of a large country. All my generation was in a deep state of frustration. I ended up studying Business and dreaming that one day I will be able to have a room of my own, that I will call - My Studio.

After 30 years, I fulfilled my dream, where I live in the country I had always admired (UK), and now I have a room that I call My Studio.

The Idea to get into the painting practice was sudden, and I found myself busy practising drawing and painting with watercolours. The national lockdown was, to an extent, a useful time spent practicing and starting to experiment with oils. Courses at the Royal School of Drawing were particularly beneficial. I started to paint a collection of still life inspired by the Old Dutch masters.

This collection was my first to be publicly shown and is now sold.

I am a member of the Blackheath Art Society and exhibit my artworks regularly.
